A New School Year
I am the world’s worst when it comes to keeping up with two blogs. It’s been six and a half months since I last posted here and almost that long since I really thought about this blog. I suck, I know.
We are gearing up for full-fledged schooling by starting in today with our left over Math Mammoth, track A for art from Meet the Masters, and some great interactive science units from The Simple Homeschool.
I’m so gung ho for school to start I even entered my first homeschool related contest/giveaway already! It’s for free Rosetta Stone in the language of the winner’s choice. How cool is that. If your intersted you should head on over to SIMPLE homeschool before Tuesday, August 2nd at 11:59 pm EDT when the giveaway ends.
Miss Muffin decided that she wanted to try k12 this year and is really excited to get started, check out this clean desk. I’m hoping that she enjoys it as much as she thinks she will, it would be great to have the preset curriculum and you can’t beat the cost (free) for the online public school. It’s definitely a more school at home approach, especially since they are collecting public school tax money but I’m open to trying anything. To me this suggests that she was never out of step with her curriculum, just the manner and environment it was taught in. I’ll let you know how it all progresses once we really get started.
